PMCA knowledge page
About
Landing page for the plasma membrane calcium-transporting ATPase (PMCA).
Other name for these proteins: Ca2 + pump
Its major function is to catalyze the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the extrusion of calcium from the cytoplasm to the extracellular space.
